Mouth swab drug tests naturally have a shorter detection window than other drug screens such as urine or blood and hair testing. But that doesn’t mean that they aren’t as effective, if not more at times depending in the reason for testing. This is because our oral saliva 12 panel drug test kit can identify drug use before it is evident in other tests drug tests that detect the metabolite of the drugs as in urine tests. Making them perfect for random drug testing, pre-employment, post accident, and much more.  It’s important to note that using oral fluids for testing means that your drug testing window will be shorter to detect drugs. So they are very effective on detecting recent drug use.

Are 12 Panel Saliva Drug Tests Easy to Use?

Halux Diagnostic 12 panel saliva drug tests are specifically designed to be easy for anyone to use. Once reading the 12 panel mouth swab directions you will be able to easily perform the test with accurate results.

Here are the instructions for using a Halux Diagnostic 12-panel saliva drug test:

  1. Remove the collection swab from the plastic packaging.
  2. Insert the swab end into the mouth, along the cheeks, and underneath the tongue. Hold the swab in the mouth for 3 minutes or until the saturation indicator turns pink. The swab must be completely saturated to get an accurate test reading.
  3. Open the testing chamber and insert the swab. Press down firmly until it locks in place.
  4. Wait 3-10 minutes before peeling off the label to reveal the test results.
  5. Two lines on a test strip indicate a negative result. One line on a strip indicates a positive result. No present lines indicate an invalid sample.

If the results show an invalid sample, you may choose to repeat the test immediately or at another time. If a person has a dry mouth on the day of the test, they might not be able to produce enough saliva for a proper sample. Although dry mouth can be a symptom of drug use, it can also occur if a person is prescribed certain medications, if they aren’t feeling well, or if they are dehydrated. They may just need to drink some water and test again later.

12-panel saliva tests are among the easiest drug tests to use. Not only are the steps simple, but it provides you with comprehensive drug screening results. Halux Diagnostic 12 panel saliva drug tests test for recent use of cocaine, marijuana, opiates 300ng, amphetamines, methamphetamine, ecstasy (MDMA), oxycodone, benzodiazepines, barbiturates, methadone, phencyclidine, and buprenorphine.

12-panel saliva drug tests are just as easy to read as they are to use. Halux Diagnostic mouth swab drug testing results don’t contain any charts or confusing terminology. You can easily read which strip tests for which drug. The results will appear below each drug abbreviation. As mentioned above, two lines on a test strip indicate a negative result. One line on a strip indicates a positive result. No present lines indicate an invalid sample.

A negative result may show one dark, solid line and one faint line. Please note that this is still a negative result. Line color density does not change the test results.

Do I Need to Use a Lab for On-Site 12 Panel Saliva Drug Tests?

One of the best aspects of on-site 12-panel saliva drug tests is that they do not require a laboratory. Anyone, even people at home, can collect samples and read drug test results themselves. Halux Diagnostic 12 panel drug tests for saliva require no special training, no professional oversight, and no expensive laboratory equipment.

On-site saliva drug tests can be used anywhere, anytime, and with anyone. They don’t require taking time off to drive to a laboratory, waiting in line to provide your sample, or waiting days for results. Instead, donors can provide a sample in about 2 minutes and then wait 10 minutes (maximum) for results. This means that individuals can get back to their day faster and organizations can maintain operations without interruption.

Some organizations might choose to have test results confirmed by a third-party laboratory. For example, if an administrator suspects that an individual used an adulterant, they can send the sample off to a lab to be completely sure. However, this is an expensive and time-consuming process. It might be more efficient to ask the donor to provide another sample on the spot.

Whenever a positive result occurs the next procedure is to have the sample sent off to a laboratory for confirmation testing.

12-panel saliva drug tests are difficult to adulterate, so most organizations don’t have an issue with reading accurate results. Tests can show invalid results if the test swab isn’t completely saturated. In that case, an individual will simply have to swab their mouth again and leave the swab in their mouth until the saturation indicator turns pink.

When used correctly, there is not any reason to use a lab for on-site 12-panel saliva tests unless a positive result occurs. This will save most organizations a considerable amount of money in lab fees and lost time. If employees are required to leave work to provide a sample, then wait up to 48 hours for results, that organization risks a decrease in productivity during the waiting period.

Halux Diagnostic 12 panel saliva tests cost as little as $8.25 per test and operate at up to 99% accuracy. Shop now to save money and time, and to restore peace of mind.
