What is a 6 Panel Saliva Drug Test?

A 6 panel saliva drug test is a type of drug test that screens for the presence of six specific drugs or drug groups in a person’s saliva. This test differs from the 7 panel  in that it screens for fewer drugs. A 6 panel saliva drug test can vary, but it typically include:

  • MethAmphetamines (including methamphetamine and ecstasy)
  • Cocaine
  • Marijuana (THC)
  • Opiates (including heroin and morphine)
  • Oxycodone
  • Benzodiazepines

This test is non-invasive and easy to administer, it can be done on-site or at home. The process of collecting the sample and analyzing it is the same as the 7 panel test and results can be obtained quickly. However, it’s worth noting that the 6 panel saliva drug test does not screen for as many drugs as the other tests, hence it may not be as comprehensive. It will be best to see all what drugs you would like to test for and possible order a more comprehesive test kit. It’s also worth noting that they are not as sensitive as laboratory-based tests, and it is highly recomended that a positive results should always be confirmed with a more sensitive test, such as a lab-based test.

A 6 panel saliva drug test is a type of drug test that screens for the presence of six specific drugs or drug groups in a person’s saliva. It is less comprehensive than the 7 panel saliva drug test but still provides quick, non-invasive results. Positive results should always be confirmed for accuracy.

Information On a 6 Panel Test?

A 6 panel saliva drug test is a type of drug test that is used to detect the presence of six specific drugs in a person’s system. These tests are often used by employers, schools, and other organizations to screen for drug use.

6 panel Oral drug test are a type of test that can be used to detect the presence of drugs in a person’s system. They are relatively simple to use and can provide results in a short period of time. Here are some general steps for using one:

  1. Collect a saliva sample: To collect a saliva sample, the person being tested will need to place a swab or absorbent pad in their mouth and allow it to absorb saliva for a few minutes.
  2. Prepare the test: Follow the instructions provided on the product insert and package for preparing the test. This will involve removing the test from its packaging, removing the swab from the testing chamber, and allowing the test to come to room temperature. Use the test as soon as possible after removing from the sealed pouch.
  3. Administer the test: Administer the test according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Have the testing applicant place the soft cotton swab end into their mouth. The swab should be swept around their mouth (gums, tounge, cheek) to ensure enough saliva is collected to allow the test to perform properly. Look on the shaft of the test for the saturation indicator to turn pink once the test is fully saturated.
  4. Open the cap on the testing chamber and place the saturated swab in until it touches the bottom of the chamber. Close the lid on the top of the device which will click shut when properly secured. Place upright on a flat and clean surface.
  5. Wait for the results: Wait for the specified amount of time for the results to appear. This will take anywhere from 5- 10 minutes. Some strips will take longer than others to fully saturate. The results will appear in the in the results window with a combination of 1-2 pink lines.
  6. Interpret the results: Read the results of the test to determine whether the test is positive or negative for the presence of drugs. There are 2 regions the control region and the testing region. One line in the control region and no line in the testing region is indicative of a positive result. One line in the control region and no line in the testing region indicates a positive result. Please see directions for further information on how to interpret results.
